Cookie Settings Explained

Most cookie pages run to several screens of vendor names. Ours is short because there is almost nothing to list.

The single item we store

When the banner appears and you pick an option, your browser saves that choice in its local storage, a small storage area that belongs to your device. All it does is spare you the same banner on each new page.

What it holds
Your banner answer and nothing else.
Where it lives
In your browser, on your device. It is not sent to our server with each request the way a traditional cookie would be.
How long it stays
Until you clear it yourself.

What you will not find here

  • Advertising cookies or retargeting tags
  • Analytics or audience-measurement scripts
  • Social sharing buttons that report your visit to a network
  • Embedded third-party fonts or image services that could log you

Because of that, declining in the banner changes nothing about how the site behaves. Every article works the same either way.

Clearing your choice

To see the banner again, delete the stored data for ousadias.net in your browser:

  1. Open your browser's settings and find the section on privacy or site data.
  2. Search for ousadias.net in the list of sites holding stored data.
  3. Remove the entry, then reload any page on the site.

Using a private or incognito window has the same effect, since that kind of window forgets local storage once it closes.
