About Ousadias
Ousadias is a small publication for people who keep things running: owners of modest companies, freelancers juggling three roles, office managers who somehow became the IT department, and anyone who has moved countries and found the paperwork waiting at the new address. We write about the practical edges of business, technology and money, and we try to do it without the jargon that usually comes bundled with those subjects.
The ground we cover
- Technology you actually use. Streaming over the internet, how IPTV services move video from a server to a living room, what connection speed a household really needs, and the newer crop of AI tools for images, headshots, infographics and property staging.
- Running a business. Marketing for local trades, search visibility, event logistics, equipment upkeep in production settings and the plain mechanics of working with suppliers.
- Money matters. Savings accounts, family wealth structures, digital payments, crypto tooling and the questions people ask before buying or selling property.
- Life across borders. Taxes for people living in another EU country, insurance for contract workers, moving house in an unfamiliar city and keeping in touch with home through television and language.
Who tends to read us
Our readers are mostly adults who prefer to understand a topic before they spend money on it. Some are comparing services; some just want to know what a term means before a meeting. A few arrive because a relocation has turned their week upside down. If you like clear explanations and a bit of context, you are in the right place.
What Ousadias is not
We are not an advisory firm, a broker or a tax office, and nothing here is tailored to your situation. An article on expat taxes can tell you which questions are worth asking; it cannot tell you what to file. The same goes for insurance, investments and anything to do with contracts. When the stakes are personal, a qualified professional who knows your circumstances is the right next step.
We also do not sell products or track you around the web. The privacy page spells out how little we collect.
How to get more out of the site
New here? The recommended reading list is a decent starting point, grouped by theme. If you want to know why the site exists in the first place, read where we come from. And if something looks wrong or out of date, the corrections page explains what happens when you tell us.
Questions, tips and polite disagreement are all welcome through the contact page.

A word on how we write
We try to describe how things work and where they tend to go wrong, then step back. You know your business, your budget and your family far better than we do.
If an article ever reads like it is steering you toward a purchase, tell us. That is not the job we set ourselves, and we would rather fix the page than defend it.
